LSFA Under 12 Boys (Seven a Side) County Cup for the LFA Trophy 2023-2024

Round 1 (group games) to be played by Friday 20th. October 2023 (Group Winners will be shown in RED)

Suggested length of group games (each team plays each other team in group once):

Group of 5 teams: 7.5 minutes each way

Group of 4 teams: 10 minutes each way

Group of 3 teams: 15 minutes each way

Group of 2 teams: 15 minutes each way

Total playing time for each team = 60 minutes (30 minutes for groups of 2 teams)

Suggested formula to determine the Group Winners:

1. Team with most points wins the group (3 points for a win, 1 point for a draw)

2. If teams are equal on points, team with better goal difference wins the group.

3. If teams are equal on points and goal difference, team scoring most goals wins the group.

4. If teams are equal on points, goal difference and goals scored, penalties to be taken to determine the group winner.
